Youth, Survival and Harm Reduction


There has been a great deal of discussion over the past few years about youth and prostitution. Statistics are often contradictory depending on who is doing the study, and on the specific population.

This page is the beginning of an effort to collect information from various sources about issues of youth and the sex trades. The documents below were written by young women with input from older women.

The documents below present a "harm reduction" based approach to these issues. A number of youth services outreach workers have responded to this site, and we hope to post more extensive information and recommendations. If anyone has more information, please send it to penet@bayswan.org
